Vintage Mode: The Killer Feature

Switch on Vintage mode and the Volt 2 engages a transformer-coupled circuit inspired by UA's 610 tube console. Warmer, rounder sound with subtle harmonic saturation. Vocals gain a pleasing density; acoustic guitar loses harshness and gains body.

Build Quality

The best-built interface in its price range. All-metal chassis, weighted and precise gain knobs, retro cream and silver aesthetic that stands out from the sea of black boxes.

76 Compressor Mode

Adds compression inspired by UA's 1176 to the headphone monitoring output only — not the recorded signal. Makes monitoring feel more controlled and exciting during tracking sessions.

Who Is It For?

Producers who care about sound quality and studio aesthetics. If you want warmth and character without expensive outboard gear, the Volt 2's Vintage mode is a legitimate shortcut.

Pros & Cons

✓ Pros
