Adam Audio's ribbon tweeter technology brings professional-grade high-frequency detail to an affordable 5" monitor — the T5V punches far above its price point.

| LF Shelf | ±6dB |
Ribbon tweeters use a thin corrugated membrane suspended between magnets. The result is dramatically lower mass — faster transient response — and far greater detail in the upper frequency range. Cymbals, sibilance, reverb tails, and stereo width information are all rendered more accurately than by comparable dome-tweeter monitors.
Some producers initially find Adam monitors bright compared to the Yamaha HS monitors. In reality, the T5V is revealing high-frequency information that other monitors were missing. A brief adjustment period is normal when switching from dome-tweeter monitors.
Both HF and LF EQ shelf controls allow precise tuning for room placement. The ±4dB HF shelf accommodates different room acoustics; the ±6dB LF shelf helps for wall or corner placement.
Producers who want maximum high-frequency detail for mixing. Particularly strong for electronic music, pop, and genres where cymbal clarity, stereo width, and vocal sibilance control are important.
The Adam Audio T5V is the most technically capable monitor under £200 for high-frequency detail. The ribbon tweeter delivers accuracy and stereo width that dome-tweeter monitors cannot match. Some adjustment is needed adapting to the extended high end. For producers who want to hear every detail, the T5V is outstanding.
