Build patches with a job
Good sound design starts with a role: sub, bass, lead, pad, pluck, texture, transition or ear candy. The PDF keeps the common controls tied to musical jobs so patches do not become impressive but unusable.
Waveforms
Sine for sub, saw for bright harmonic weight, square for hollow body, noise for air and transient texture.
Envelopes
Attack controls bite, decay and sustain control body, release controls how much space the sound leaves behind.
Movement
Use one or two LFOs with clear intent: pulse, wobble, shimmer, drift or rhythmic filter motion.
Mix fit
Check mono, low-end buildup and harshness before saving a patch as finished.
