teenage engineering's 24 June update for the EP-133 K.O. II adds USB audio support for class-compliant hosts, so the sampler can send and receive audio with a computer or phone. The company also lists reverse playback, expanded Keys mode scales and arpeggiator options, equal-length autochop and improved timestretching, making the pocket sampler more useful as a DAW-connected sketchpad.

Ableton's 25 June Move update is small but worth noting for portable sketching: clip launches are now deferred to the next quantization point when triggered too close to the current one, two Core Library preset settings were corrected, folder renaming with dots no longer errors, and Move Manager shows an upload button when there are no sets.

Arturia's press page lists MiniLab 37 as its latest hardware announcement, and Ableton's Live 12.4.2 notes add dedicated Control Surface support for it. The useful bedroom-producer angle is simple: a compact 37-key controller is easier to keep permanently wired than a larger keyboard, but still gives more range than a 25-key mini setup.

Arturia's 25 June press release introduces Rev OCEAN, an original reverb effect built around FDN processing, multi-stage diffusion and modulation. The useful producer angle is speed: Abyss, Tide and Foam modes are designed for evolving tails, ducked space, frozen textures and wide atmospheric transitions without building a long effects chain from scratch.

Native Instruments has launched Super*Saw, pronounced SuperStarSaw, a software synth co-created with A. G. Cook. NI describes it as a focused stacked-saw instrument with two dual 8-voice oscillator layers, morphing performance control and a workflow inspired by Cook's own hyper-pop and club production patches. Cherry Audio announced an officially licensed Ensoniq ESQ-1 plug-in on 16 June, built around the original 32 ESQ-1 waveforms with modern additions such as expanded polyphony, MPE, modulation, effects and SysEx import/export. On 19 June it followed with Voice-80, a free 880-preset pack based on Ensoniq's official cartridge series.
